We have received numerous enquiries from several businesses interested in placing adverts on our platform. I was initially against the idea as I saw it as a distraction from our core business model which is to connect users with reliable service providers in Nigeria.

Then I saw that, we can’t really deal with services without dealing with service related products. For instance, we noticed some service categories on Pukena attract a reasonable amount of traffic daily. These are people in need of such services. Chances are that if presented with a related product for those services, they will gladly to buy it.

Hence we are launching our Targeted Ad program with which any related business can place adverts on the sections of Pukena where the people he/she wants to reach are most likely to be found (for example, a Hair/Beauty dealer could place ads on the beauty services category with it).

To place ads on Pukena, the first step is to get your ad banner designed by a good graphic designer. Your ad banner must be borderless with the following dimensions:

• Banner (1024px x 150px),
• Square (321px x 231px),
• Rectangular 673px x 231px.

Different sections you can place your ads on Pukena include:

• Home page (Just below the services category)
• Subcategory sections: Events Services, Beauty Services, Digitals services, Home Maintenance services, Private tutorials services, pet services, etc
• Sponsored Profile: You may wish to have a sponsored profile set up for your company for a period of time within which we ensure it get maximum exposure to your target market.

All ads must be related to the services offered to our users. Ads not related are out rightly rejected.
